Creative Learning Innovations is dedicated to helping teachers better serve the ever-changing needs of students! Using music, visual arts, and varied hands-on strategies, I strive to integrate multiple learning modalities into everyday literacy lessons. Increasing students' enthusiasm for reading and writing improves self efficacy. When students are able to learn via their unique styles, they gain momentum into conquering the challenges that lie ahead. Conversely, when students are taught with only one approach, many end up believing that they "can't learn" like other kids. After years of working with foster children I became a teacher. I quickly learned that many students perform best when presented with multiple strategies to learn. I am continuously amazed at how "playing with literacy" through songs, art, puzzles, and games increases my students' interest and ability in reading and writing. Silly Songs for Sight Words is a venture and adventure into tools to enhance dedicated teachers' efforts in the classroom!
